John William Waddell, 91, Macon, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Waddell was born on April 13, 1927 in Rochelle, Georgia to the late Samuel Patrick Waddell and Ethel Harden Waddell. He proudly served his county in the United States Navy during World War II as well as the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Waddell had a lengthy and impressive Civil Service Career at Robins Air Force Base as a Machine Shop Planner. In 1955 He opened his own business, Bibb Machinery Sales. In his free time he loved Antique Cars.
Mr. Waddell was preceded in death by his parents as well as three siblings; Arthur Waddell, James Waddell, and Tom Waddell.
Mr. Waddell leaves behind three nephews and four nieces.
