John Vitale

John Gregory Vitale, 68, of Macon, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 23 at 3:00 p.m. at Pine Forest Baptist Church. Dr. Morgan Kerr will officiate. Burial will be on Monday, September 25, at 2:30 p.m. in the Georgia Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Milledgeville. John Mark Cooling will officiate. Visitation with the family is Friday, September 22 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home in Macon.
Greg was a fun-loving person who dearly loved his family and cherished his many friendships. He was a devoted husband, a proud father and grandfather, and a friend you could count on. His love will live forever in our hearts. Greg was a United States Army veteran and proudly served his country in Viet Nam. He was the vice president of Vitco Fire Fighting and Safety Equipment Company in Macon. Greg was a dedicated member of Pine Forest Baptist Church. He served faithfully on the kitchen and transportation committees, and was a member of the Joyful Journey Sunday School Class. Greg was preceeded in death by his parents, Michael Joseph Vitale and Jacqueline Sheppard Vitale. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Thomas Vitale; daughters, Jessica Vitale Agee(Ron) and Erica Vitale; son, Ashley White (Brandi); brother, Michael J. Vitale, Jr. (Kathi); sister, Angela Vitale Lutz (Tom); grandchildren, Kameron and Malik Agee, Will and Kolby Smith, Donovan and Triniti White; and 13 nieces and nephews.
