John Roberson, 69, of Macon, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2016 in Fairhaven Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.
Born in Macon, he was the son of the late Nat Roberson and Carrie Lou Blankenship Roberson. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the 101st Airborne in Vietnam where he was awarded several medals including the Bronze Star.
He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Freidhof (Patrick), grandchildren, Rebbecka and Ethan Freidhof and great grandchild, Israel Freidhof. Sisters, Diane Rutledge, Dorothy Shell and Rozelle Oxyer. Beloved pet, Baby.
