Byron, Georgia- John M. Owens of Byron, Georgia passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018. Funeral services were held Monday, April 30, 2018 at Fairhaven Funeral Home. Pastor Zeke DelaFuente from Byron Baptist Church officiated. Burial was at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Born in Russellville, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Luther and Nelda Owens.
He was an Air Force veteran and retired from Robins Air Force Base.
Mr. Owens was a member of Byron Baptist Church.
He was predeceased by his wife, Marilyn T. Owens.
He is survived by a son, John M. Owens ll (Joyce) of Warner Robins, daughters, Sheri Spillers (Gene) of Byron, Sarah Roberts (Rodney) of Gray, Merry Line(David) of Maryville, Tn.,
Andress Rieckert (William) of Warner Robins, twelve grandchildren and step-daughter, Merideth Thomas (Ron) of Locust Grove.
The family respectfully requests any memorial donations to be given to apdaparkinson.org. and Byron Baptist Church, Byron,Ga.
