John Kimberly Haynes, 58, of Macon, passed away suddenly, Thursday, June 30, 2016. Funeral Services to honor and celebrate his life will be held Tuesday, July 5, at 2:00 p.m. at Harvest United Methodist Church, 3322 Hwy 41 North, Byron. Mark Kitchens will officiate. Burial will be immediately following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends and have a time of visitation Monday, July 4, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road Macon.
Born In Macon to John E. Haynes and Elvie Jean Whitehurst Haynes, he was a member of Hartley Bridge Church of Christ. Kim was an extremely hard worker; he owned and operated Haynes Painting for more than 30 years. He had a love for motorcycles, especially Harleys and Vintage Cars. To say Kim was the life of the party would be an understatement. Some of his favorite times were spent at family gatherings and he always loved a good prank. He loved Coca-Cola and ice cream and never passed up a good meal. But the one thing that Kim loved most in life was his family. He was an amazing Husband, Dad, Papa, Son and Brother.
Kim was preceded in death by his mother, Elvie Jean Whitehurst Haynes. Left to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy is his loving family: His precious wife of over 30 years, Lynn Haynes; Three daughters whom he adored, Robin Harris (Chris), Cori Norman (Stephen) and Amber Haynes. Four Grandchildren; Kaleb Lee, Gabby Harris, Alana Haynes, and Anslie Grace Norman; His father John E. Haynes; Two Brothers Mike Haynes ( Lori) and Sidney Haynes ( Lori); As well as several nieces and nephews.Kim's joyous spirit will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
