John Collier Cork Jr., born on May 7th, 1965, in Macon, Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 24th, 2026. At the age of 61, John lived a life filled with kindness, dedication, and an undying love for his family and passions.

John was a dedicated machine operator at First Quality for 26 years, where he demonstrated his expertise and commitment for many years. He proudly held an electrician certification from Macon Technical College, utilizing his skills and knowledge to contribute meaningfully to his profession and community.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, John is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Angie Cork, his loving daughters, Ashley ( Joe) Caum and Chelsey (William) Hulon, and cherished grandchildren: Jorgie Mae, Collier, Shiloh, and Samuel. His loving mother, Janet E. Cork, stands as a testament to the nurturing family he cherished alongside his sisters, Martha Conley and Angela (Rodney) Tolbert. He was preceded in death by his father, John Collier Cork, and brother-in-law, Howard Conley.

John's interests were as vibrant as his spirit. He found immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren, riding motorcycles and bicycles, and had a profound appreciation for classic rock music, with favorites including Iron Maiden, Rush, and Creedence Clearwater Revival. He also had a deep-seated passion for collecting wristwatches, which symbolized his appreciation for craftsmanship and style.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate John's life will be held at Lizella Baptist Church in Lizella, Georgia, on Sunday, August 30th, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Prior to the service, friends and family are invited to a visitation at FairHaven Funeral Home in Macon, GA, on Saturday, August 29th, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Flowers are accepted and donations may be made to United in Pink, a charity dear to his wife, Angie, located at 125 Plantation Centre Dr S Building 500, Suite A, Macon, Georgia, 31210.

John's legacy of love, dedication, and passion will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His memory will continue to inspire and bring comfort to his family and friends.
