John Madison Belcher, 74, passed away January 21, 2017, in Macon, GA. A graveside service will be held in Westview Cemetary, Atlanta, Georgia, on Wednesday, January 25th at 11:00 a.m. . He was born on October 20, 1942, in Atlanta, Ga. John was a retired painter, and lived in Atlanta, GA, Nashville, TN, and Pinellas Park, FL, before moving to Macon in 2006. He was predeceased by his parents, Ruth Wallace and Bill Belcher, brothers Gene and Larry Belcher, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Alvah D. Hall and Mr. And Mrs. Sam Belcher. Survivors include his sisters, Jeri Wallace of Macon, GA, Bonnie Knight (Charles) of Juliette, GA, brother, Steve Wallace (Melanie) of Augusta, GA, nieces, Molly Knight Calvo (Phil) of Denver, CO, Alison Hall (Michael) of Athens, GA, Rosalind Belcher of Riverview, Fl, and nephew, Stephen Wallace (Carrie) of Hoover, AL. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the staff of Macon Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, and Pruitt Hospice for their care of John during his final days.
