John Alexander

John P. Alexander, 83, of Macon, Georgia passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Lawrence Drive Baptist Church. Dr. Brad Marchman will officiate. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will have a time of visitation on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. till service time in the church.
Born in Mountain City, Georgia, he was the son of the late Alvin Alexander and Drucilla Warren Alexander. He served his country in the United States Army, and was retired from Riverwood Papermill, after 40 years of service.
Mr. Alexander was a charter member of the Lawrence Drive Baptist Church, where he attended Sunday School as well. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Nick McPeters, Sisters, Mildred Donaldson, Loubelle Dotson and a brother, Emmanuel Alexander.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Judy Max Alexander, children, Tim Alexander(Theresa) and Tami Sanders (Rod). Grandchildren, David McPeters and Hannah Holcomb(Jonathan); Great granddaughter, Alexandria McPeters. Sister, Susan Taylor and several nieces and nephews.
