Jimmy G "Snake" Taylor, 74, of Macon, went to heaven, to be with his daughter Krista, on Sunday August 20, 2017 at Pine Pointe Hospice. Come Celebrate his life with visitation at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. till 9:30 a.m. Graveside Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Kenny Hamm will officiate. In true Jimmy fashion, please come in casual attire.
Jimmy was born on December 2, 1942, in Moultrie, Georgia to the late Henry and Mary Taylor. He served in the military and retired from the Georgia State Patrol Post 15. His greatest joy in life came from his racecar, children, and grandchildren.
Jimmy is preceded in death by one daughter; Kristina Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, Gale Taylor, a daughter; Melissa Andrews (David Jones), and one son; Clinton Taylor(Holly). Four grandsons, one granddaughter and three great grandsons. Three sisters: Judy Taylor , Debra Waters and Jan Allen. Many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends, which he loved very much.
