Jimmy L. Nettles, 75, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, peacefully in his home. A Celebration of life will be held in his honor, Thursday May 9, 2024 from 1pm-3pm at FairHaven Funeral Home. All are encouraged to attend and share their favorite stories or memories of Jimmy.
Jimmy was born May 18, 1948, in Twin City, Georgia to the late George W. Nettles and Marie Lewis Nettles. Jimmy was a family man through and through; If he wasn't spending time with them, he could be found fishing down by the river or cruising on his Harley.
Jimmy is predeceased by his loving wife, Renell Nettles; siblings, Bobby Nettles, William Nettles, and Sue Pryor; grandchild, Ava Nettles.
He is survived by his son, Jimmy (Gayle) Nettles; sister, Cathy (Randy) Royal; sister-in-law, Evie Nettles; grandchild, Zachary (Elizabeth) Nettles; great-grandchild, Winnifred Nettles; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
