Jerry Edward Williams

Jerry Edward Williams, 77, of Macon, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Services will be private.

Mr. Williams was born on July 30, 1948, in LaGrange, Georgia, to the late Mr. David Avery Williams and Mrs. Frances Myrlene Hedrick Williams. He proudly served his county in the United States Army and retired from Riverwood.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Sheila Diane Phillips Williams.

Left to cherish Mr. Williams’ memory are his children, Buffy Lynn Smith, David Williams, and Jonathan Williams; four grandchildren, Trey Hollingsworth, DeKota Harris Patterson, Gage Holman Williams and Jack Holman Williams; and daughter-in-law Lindsey Holman Williams. Other survivors include a brother, Ronald Williams and his wife Patsy Thaxton Williams; nephew, Ron Williams; and a niece, Jennifer Williams. Jerry also had a great nephew Corban and a great niece Maylea
