Jerry Lee Roth, 76, of Dry Branch, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020. Funeral services will be private.
Mr. Roth was born on October 27, 1943, in Cochran, Georgia. He proudly served his country in the National Guard. Mr. Roth was employed as a welder with the Georgia Forestry Commission for 22 years. He also worked at Eastside Lumber Company, where he was known as the "Fonz." Mr. Roth loved the outdoors, spending much of his free time hunting and fishing.
Mr. Roth was preceded in death by his parents, Nowell and Mary Roth, and brother, David Lynn Roth.
Mr. Roth is survived by his wife of 55 years, Melba Ryles Roth; daughters, Linda Ann McWilliams (James) and Karen Hicks (Roger); five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Ann Nottingham (David), Katherine Roth, and Martha Etheridge (Dennis).
