Jennifer Wallace

Jennifer Prestridge Wallace,63, of Byron, passed away suddenly on January 26, 2023. The family will have a time of visitation to greet friends on Monday, January 30, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will begin in the chapel at 11:00 a.m.

Jenny was born on August 15, 1959, in Langdale, Alabama to Billy and Linda Prestridge. Jenny was an extremely skilled barber and worked all her life in her family's business. Her great grandfather started Pete's Barber Shop, and Jenny made sure to keep that family legacy alive through her hard work and dedication. Even through some hard times, Jenny always found joy in cutting hair. She was a loving and supportive wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and friend. She never missed one of her daughters' softball games, and was her biggest cheerleader. In her free time, she liked riding motorcycles, Elvis and Alabama football. Her greatest joy in life, was by far her family. They were the light of her life.

Jenny was preceded in death by her father; Billy Prestridge.

Jenny is survived by her loving family. Her husband of 18 years; Steve Wallace, Mother; Linda Joan Prestridge, Children; Brian Prestridge and Christy Orsak (Adam). Grandchildren; Austin Conner, Destiny Orsak, Hailey Orsak and Jaxon Orsak. Siblings; Jeff Prestridge (Tammy) and Penny Prince (Joey).
