Jeanette E. Coone

Jeanette Edwards Coone, 86, passed away on March 15, 2022 in Far West, Utah. The family will have a time of visitation to greet friends on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services to honor her life will be held in the chapel beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Tim Long officiating. Immediately following the service, she will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Coone was born on December 2, 1935 in Geneva County, Alabama to the late William and Famie Edwards. She married her loving husband Horace, and together they formed a wonderful life together, raising four children. One of her greatest joys in life came from her family, especially her grandchildren, and spending time with them. She loved to sew, and that love lead her to a career as a seamstress for the majority of her life, working for a few different companies, including Levi. She was extremely talented and could make anything that was shown to her, in particular dresses for her granddaughters. Mrs. Coone later went to work at Robins Air Force Base, before her retirement. In her free time, she loved to read, cook, bake, and spend time outside in her garden. Above everything, she loved her Lord and attending church when able.
Mrs. Coone was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband of over 60 years, Horace Coone and 9 siblings.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family. Her children; Kenneth Coone, Jerry Coone (Gwen), Steve Coone (Ginger) and Joan Jones (Joe). Grandchildren; Niki, Kelley, Jerrilynn, Ashley (David), Brittany (TJ), Rachel, and Jeanette (Steve). Great Granndchildren; Lukas, Christopher, Gavin, Skyler and Eli.
