James Thompson

James Thomas Thompson Sr. 61, of Macon, Georgia passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Macon Evangelistic Church, Hartley Bridge Road. Reverend Garry Berrier will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation following the service in the church.
Born in Macon, he was the son of the late James Fred Thompson and Bertha Faye McCrimmons Thompson. He also was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Ann Thompson.
Mr. Thompson enjoyed his amateur CB radio having the handle "King" and was involved in the C.O.P.S Program with the Macon-Bibb County Sheriffs Office.
He is survived by his wife, Sheryl Ann Thompson, Children, Charles Eddie Lee, Jr., Richard Alan Lee (Debbie), James Thomas Thompson Jr. (Danielle), Lori Stroud (John), Tasha Boothe (Ashley). Brother, Carlton Lee Thompson(Helen), Nine Grandchildren and Three great Grandchildren.
