James Ramsey

James Myron Ramsey, 84, of Macon, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 12 Noon in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. Reverend Len Strozier will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. till service time in the funeral home.
Born in Clarkesville, Georgia, he was the son of the late Eugene Ramsey and Cora Miller Ramsey. He was a retired draftsman with 24 years of service with Willingham Sash and Door.
Myron was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church, where he attended The Peacemakers Sunday School Class. He was also a former Deacon at Cherokee Heights Baptist Church and was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bettie Ramsey, Daughters, Denise Ramsey Collins (Keith), Lisa Ramsey Walker, and Traci Ramsey Holliday(Ben); Brother, Charles Ramsey; Six grandchildren and Twelve great grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted, but the family requests that donations be made to Bolingreen Health and Rehab, 529 Bolingreen Dr. Macon, Georgia 31210.
