James "Jim" Perry Strickland

James "Jim" Perry Strickland, of Juliette, Georgia passed away peacefully in the early hours of Friday, May 10, 2024. A graveside service to honor his life will be held on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at 10:30 AM in the Forsyth City Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. Pastor Drew Winters will officiate.
Jim was born in Akron, Ohio on November 8, 1948, to the late Mr. Carl Strickland and Mrs. Allen Gray Strickland. He proudly served his county in the United States Navy before being honorably discharged. Jim was a devoted worker at Riverside Ford as a Parts Salesman for many years. Outside of work, he enjoyed cheering on the Braves and playing poker with his dear friends. Above all, what he cherished most was his family and grand pup, Dude the doodle. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings.
Left to cherish his memory forever is his son, John (Jennifer) Strickland; grandchildren, Kaylee and Bradley Strickland and his grand pup, Dude.
