James Franklin Parker, 75, of Byron, passed away peacefully at residence with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. The family will have a time of visitation on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services to honor his life will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Parkway Assembly of God, immediately following the service, James will be laid to rest in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors .
Jimmy was born on March 22, 1943 in Macon, Georgia to the late H.A. and Clyde Parker. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He owned and operated his own HVAC Company, Parker Heating and Air. Jimmy was a member of Parkway Assembly of God where he was a musician. He loved music and especially playing the Guitar, Bass, and Banjo.
Jimmy is survived by his loving family, his wife; Connie Parker. Two children; Larry W. Barnes, Jr. (Marybeth) and Diana Sama (Michael). Five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
