James Herbert Morris Sr. 90, of Macon, Georgia passed away Monday, June 25, 2018. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will have a time of visitation on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Born in Johnson County, he was a retired lab technician from Georgia Kraft after 38 years of service. He was an avid fisherman, having moved to Lake Sinclair after his retirement. He was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Kight Morris, Son, James "Herbie" Morris (Vickie); Brother, L.H. Morris(Nancy); sisters, Saralyn Rowland and Erma Ann Garrett(John); Grandchildren, Devin and Damien Morris. Brothers in law and Sister in law: Jimmy Walker (Katherine) and "Bob''.
