James Guyton Lord of Dublin died March 27, 2017. Born in Wilkinson County, January 10, 1937, Guyton was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Cecil Lord and Annie Yancey Lord of Toomsboro, and a brother, Robert Cecil Lord, Jr.
Retired from Sears in Macon, he was a tree farmer and former member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Guyton is survived by his wife of 58 years, Fearn Spears Lord; two daughters, Deanna Lord of Tucker and Charlotte Lord Foskey (Jeff); and two granddaughters Emily and Ellen Foskey of Gray; sister Marlene Tompkins of Toomsboro; and two brothers, Wayne Lord (Sue) of Dublin and Emmo Lord (Cheryl) of McIntyre; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will gather for a private memorial at a later date. Friends may call at the family residence.
