James David Horton, 62, of Lizella, Georgia, passed away Friday, September 30, 2016. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. in Mount Zion Baptist Church, 7015 Rivoli Road Macon, Georgia 31210. Reverend Andy Oxford will officiate.
Born in Macon, he was the son of Agnes Livingston Horton of Macon and the late Jack Nelson Horton. He was formerly employed by Hayes Plumbing Company. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and enjoyed drawing in his free time.
He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Horton of Lizella, mother, Agnes Livingston Horton of Macon, and his brothers, Tim Horton of Bolingbroke and Don Horton of Juliette, Ga. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
