James "Mitch" Mitchell Hortman, 59, of Lizella, passed away July 3, 2024, in his home.

Mr. Hortman is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Adelina Lina Solis; 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

James is described as a "kind soul" that would help fix a flat or give you the shirt off his back whenever you needed it. He will be dearly missed by the many friends and cousins he leaves behind. All services will be held at a future date.
