Mr. Hood was born on November 27, 1928, in Lanette, Alabama to the late Minor R. Hood and Lessie Ophelia Fincher Hood. He was a retired Electrician from Robins Air Force Base. In his younger years, Mr. Hood enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and woodworking. He also loved the outdoors, camping and cutting grass. Mr. Hood loved his Lord and Savior and was the epitome of a Godly man. He was a faithful charter member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene for over 50 years. Over those years, he served as a Sunday school teacher, a song leader, board member and resident handyman. He truly loved his church home, church family and did whatever was needed of him. Together they built a great life, raising 3 boys. His kind spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
