James Joseph Hoffeditz, 74, of Crawford County, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Funeral Services will be private.
Mr. Hoffeditz was born on June 15, 1949, in Macon, Georgia to the late Mr. Fredrick Hoffeditz and Mrs. Frances Gamble. James was a devoted patriot who proudly served in the United States Army and worked diligently on F-15 Eagles, ensuring the safety and strength of our nation's defense. Beyond their military service, He was a sports enthusiast, sharing a deep love for both the Falcons and Georgia Bulldogs football. He also cherished the outdoors, frequently embarking on hunting and fishing adventures that allowed him to connect with nature. He had a special bond with his grandson, Peyton, spending many hours playing catch in the yard with him. Mr. Hoffeditz adventurous spirit extended to his love for motorcycles, finding freedom and thrill on the open road. Their memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know and love him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving family, Heather (Joey) Johnson; grandchildren, Peyton and Nathan Johnson; nephew, Thomas Bubba Hoffeditz and great god daughter, Cassidy Varner.
