James Thomas Freeman Jr. 71, of Byron, Georgia passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021. A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, October 3, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in Crossroads Bible Church with a visitation starting at 2:30 p.m. in the church. Pastor Chet Cooper will officiate.
Born in Macon, he was the son of the late James Thomas Freeman Sr. and Velma Moore Freeman. He was a retired lineman from Southern Bell Telephone with 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Hayes Freeman, children, Shannon Killgo (Becky) and Connor Freeman(Mandy) Sister, Charlotte Morgan; grandchildren, Amanda Murray, Seth Killgo, Harley Killgo and Hunter Brazzell; Niece, Amy Vail and great niece and nephew, Madison and Cason Vail.
