James Arthur Beacham, 81, of Macon, Georgia passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2024. A graveside service to honor his life will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 2:30 PM at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Pastor Tim Sizemore will officiate.
James was born in Dublin, Georgia on February 4, 1943, to the late Mr. Leon Deward Beacham and Mrs. Laura Lawrence Beacham. James devoted 35 plus years in the Coating Department with Armstong before retiring. Outside of work, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and soaking up time at the lake. He was a simple man that enjoyed the simplicity these hobbies brought to him. Above all, his family was most important to him. James and Gloria were married for 57 faithful years and created many memories in their lifetime together. His sense of humor, hardworking talents, and devoted heart will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Gloria Ann Beacham (Logue); brothers, Deward Beacham, Elmo Beacham, Eugene Beacham; sister, Hazel Crow.
Left to cherish Mr. Beacham's memory is his daughter, Leslie Wade (Scott); son, Jamey Beacham; grandchildren, Taylor Bowers (Justin), Lindsey Cano (Sergio), and Ryder Wade; great-grandson, Kasper Bowers; sisters, Mildred Foskey, Dorothy Fountain, and Gerry Crow; and many nieces and nephews.
