Jacob Bassett

Jacob Richard Bassett, 32, of Fort Valley, passed away peacefully, July 10, 2016. Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at New Elim Baptist Church. Mr. Robert Griggers will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Jacob loved life and enjoyed every day. He continuously had a smile on his face from the time he woke up until the time he went to sleep. He loved music and the feel of warm sunshine on his face.
Jacob was greeted at the gates of heaven by his Grandparents, Joe and Velma Bassett, His Grandfather, Billy Wayne Faircloth and one aunt, Billie Jean Faircloth.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving parents, and caretakers, Lisa and Keith Bassett, One Sister, whom he loved dearly, Nikki Bassett, Grandparents; Carolyn and Keith Thompson, Aunt and Uncle; Tina Allen (Steve). As well as many loving cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in memory of Jacob to Shriners Hospital, 1001 Johnson Ferry Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30342.
