Jack Andrew Widener, 74, of Macon, GA; passed away Saturday August 10, 2024, one day shy of his 75
th
birthday. A Graveside Service to honor his life will be 10 AM Friday August 16, 2024, at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery,
7070 Houston Rd, Macon, GA 31216.
Jack was born August 11, 1949, in Macon, GA to the late Mr. BJ Widener and Ms. Jewell Eaton Miller. Jack was a patriotic man serving his country faithfully in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Jack is described as an amateur philosopher who loved to travel and enjoyed getting out in nature by going on long walks. He will be missed dearly by all that loved him.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother; Carey (Margie) Widener, sister; Betty Hudson and many nieces and nephews.
