Jack Savage

September 10, 1935 — September 29, 2021

Jack Charles "Papaw" Savage of Macon, Georgia went to be with Jesus on September 29, 2021, at the age of 86. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Papaw, Brother, Cousin & Friends.
A native of Fort Gay, West Virginia, Jack enlisted in the United States Army in 1951, serving for 16 years. He was a Master Craftsman at A Touch of Country, an avid bowler and golfer as well as a devoted Braves Fan. His love for sports led him to become a dedicated coach. He was a friend to all who knew him.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents; Jay Savage and Jerrie Bartam Savage and daughter Sharon Savage.
Jack is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kathy Savage. His children; Mike (Mary), Nick (Tabby). Stephen John, Jeff, Amy (Woody), Walter "Butz" (Kellie). Siblings, George (Avie), Judy Kay (Bill), Bob (Micha), Linda (Brian). His beloved grandchildren, Eric, Josh, Jennifer, Gabe, Brad, Sydney, Destiny, CC, Demmi, Chaney, Damon, Tucker, Eryn, and his precious great grands and all his bonus grandchildren and kids.
We invite all family and friends to join us in a celebration of his life Monday, October 4, 2021, at Roberta Civic Center, 93 S. Mathews St, Roberta, GA 31078 beginning at 2:00 p.m. They will receive flowers at 5625 Mount Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, GA 31216.
