Jack Willard Hambrick, 89, of Macon, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. A celebration of Mr. Hambrick's life will be held on Sunday, October 31, at 2:00 PM in the Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum with Mrs. Nanette Harmon officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.
Mr. Hambrick was born on September 15, 1932, in Eastman, Georgia, to the late Willard Singleton Hambrick and Gussie Lee Pace Hambrick. He retired from Robins Air Force Base after 44 years of service. Mr. Hambrick was a member of Mabel White Baptist Church, where he was in the Joy senior choir. In his free time, he traveled extensively and loved to read and shop.
Mr. Hambrick was preceded in death by his daughter, Jacque Bryant and brothers, Leland Hambrick, James Hambrick, and Johnny Hambrick.
Mr. Hambrick is survived by his wife of 47 years, Florence Hambrick; daughter, Deborah Hambrick; son, Steven Hambrick; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and sister, Lenora Sherrill.
