Irene Hale

July 9, 1926 — June 2, 2016

Irene Nicholson Hale, 89, of Macon passed away peacefully at her residence, Thursday, June 2, 2016. A Graveside Service to honor her life will be held Sunday, June 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. David Israel will officiate.
Born in Chattahoochee County, Georgia to the late Vernon Floyd and Ione Perkins Nicholson she was formerly employed as a Civilian at Robins Air Force Base. She was a member of Log Cabin Baptist Church and enjoyed watching Joel Osteen and Charles Stanley every Sunday with her daughter. Mrs. Irene's passion in life was caring for people and animals. She was a caregiver for many years to her parents and husband before they passed.
Mrs. Irene was preceded in death by her adoring husband of 56 years, Walter Leon Hale, as well as her brother Vernon Floyd Nicholson, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving daughter, Donna Hale Bennett and Donnas' fiancé Herman "Dean" Hathaway. Three nephews; David Nicholson, Don Nicholson, and Roger Nicholson. As well and her sister in law, Donna Nicholson.
