Imogene Anderson Wallace

Imogene Anderson Wallace, 90, of Macon, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Monday, April 29, 2024. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, May 5, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home with Pastor, Eddie Wilcox officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will be private.
Mrs. Wallace was born on December 22, 1933, in Lula, Georgia, to the late Mr. Fed Anderson and Mrs. Eva Oliver Anderson. She was a long time, faithful member of Central Fellowship Baptist Church and retired from Central Fellowship Christian Academy after many years or service as their bookkeeper. Imogene enjoyed reading, sewing, and loved to travel, having visited many different countries.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wallace; daughter, Rebecca Wallace Register; grandson, Thad Register; nephew, Tim Armour; and niece, Debra White.
Left to cherish Mrs. Wallace's memory are her children, Roberta Wallace Jolley (Dave) and Paul Wallace (Patsy); son-in-law, Reggie Register; grandchildren, Kyle Register, Haley Register Sikes (Josh), and Travis Leggett; great-grandson, Kash Sikes; sisters, Doris Miller and Geneva Jones (Jeff); nieces, Shelia Burrell, Annette Grice (Tommy), and Kim Parr (Larry).
In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests donations be made in Mrs. Wallace's memory to Central Fellowship Baptist Church/Christian Academy, 8460 Hawkinsville Road, Macon, Georgia 31216.
