Hugh Puckett

Hugh Herndon Puckett, 76, of Musella, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 3, 2017. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Lizella Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Shannon Back officiating. Interment will be private for family only, at Roberta City Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home.
Hugh was born December 15, 1940 in Cordele, Georgia to the late Whitt M. and Gracie Puckett. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy where he was crew chief of plane #2 with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. He retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation as a civil engineer. Hugh was a member of Lizella Baptist Church where he was active in the men's Sunday school class.
Hugh was preceded in death by his parents, as well as one sister; Dixie Jean Hill.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Vicki Doll Puckett. Four children; Chris Puckett (Dannielle), Craig Puckett (Amanda), Holly Puckett Anderson and Brande Puckett Kluge (Michael). Eleven grandchildren, Two siblings; Hoyt Puckett (Darlene) and Lila Freeland. As well as his beloved fur baby; Buddy Boy.
