Helen Newberry

Helen Frances Newberry, 85, of Macon, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. The family will have a time of visitation on Friday, June 10, 2022, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Benjamin Newberry officiating. Immediately following the service, Ms. Newberry will be laid to rest in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Ms. Newberry was born on October 26, 1936, in Lizella, Georgia, to the late Benjamin Franklin Newberry, Sr. and Ella Frances Tidwell Newberry. She worked the majority of her life as a clerk and retired from the Federal District Court. In her younger years, she loved playing softball, golfing, and traveling. Ms. Newberry was very physically active until her recent years. She was most recently a member of Mabel White Baptist Church.
Ms. Newberry was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her two infant brothers, one of which was her twin and her brother; Benjamin " Frankie" Newberry, Jr.
Ms. Newberry is survived by her nieces; Cheryl McKenzie, Beverly Boyce (Harold), Vickie Stokes (Scott). Nephews; Donald Newberry (Cindy) and Douglas Newberry. 12 great nieces and nephews, 24 great great nieces and nephews and 2 great great great nephews.
