Helen Jean Burchett Duke, 75, of Macon, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 25, 2016. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon with the Reverend Chris Minton officiating. Interment will be immediately following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will have a time of visitation on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in Celina, Tennessee, to the late Johnny and Lucile Burchett, Helen was a homemaker for the majority of her life, and loved Bluegrass Music.
Helen was preceded in death by her Brothers, Hugh Maxie Burchett and Jimmy Edmond Burchett.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, James Duke and her daughter; Kim Bowden (Greg), three grandchildren; Ryan Bowden, Stacy O'Rear and Jennifer Dykes; as well as four Great-grandchildren.
