Hazel E. Chapman Stokes, 91, of Macon, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Joe Bowker will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. till service time.

Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Hoyt Benjamin Chapman and Gladys Rankin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Stokes, Sr. and Twin Boys, John and Benjamin Stokes, Son in law, Fred Ranalli; Siblings, Louise, Gene, Verlin, Betty and Joan

She was a member of the Berean Baptist Church and was a volunteer with A.R.C. in Macon.

She is survived by her children, Grady Stokes Jr. (Cindy Arnold), Patricia Humphries (Barry Pollner)and Carol Ranalli; Sister, Gail Jarrett(Jackie); Five grandchildren and Ten great grandchildren; daughter in law, Dura Stokes.
