Hazel Spires

Hazel Beasley Spires, 88, of Lizella, Georgia passed away Monday, March 28, 2016. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road. Reverend Herbert Williams will officiate. Burial will be private in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
A visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. till 2:00p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in Dodge County, She was the daughter of the late Melvin Beasley and Susie Kitchens Beasley. She was the widow of Alonza Lucius Spires. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Donnie Spires (Barbara Gail) of Byron; Terry Spires(Linda) of Lizella; and Connie Touchton (Buddy) of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Eight Grandchildren, Seventeen great grandchildren, Four great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
