Harrison D. Morris

April 29, 2009 — April 11, 2026

Macon

Harrison D. Morris, age 16, passed away unexpectedly in a tragic truck accident while spending time doing what he loved—being with his friends. Harrison would have celebrated his 17th birthday on April 29, 2026.

Harrison was a bright light in the lives of all who knew him. He came into this world weighing a whopping 10 pounds as the “biggest baby” in the nursery, and he grew into a tall, and handsome young man, full of personality, with a gift for bringing joy into every room. He loved to tease and “pick” at people in the sweetest, most endearing way—always leaving others smiling or laughing. His playful spirit was matched by a heart that loved deeply, and he loved without hesitation.

Harrison’s spiritual gift was Acts of Service, just like his Mama and Daddy. He was always willing to help…..Feeding the homeless, or helping his Mama at church with VBS. He loved to bake but his favorite was his annual Christmas-Goodie-making day with Grandma. He "may" have eaten more than he saved for everyone else.

Harrison found joy in life’s simple moments, especially the time he spent with his family. He loved going shopping with his Mama, turning ordinary errands into special memories filled with laughter and conversation. With his sister, Farah, he cherished every opportunity for adventure, always ready to explore, have fun, and make the most of their time together.

He had a passion for music and could often be found singing at the top of his lungs with the volume turned all the way up, completely lost in the moment. Harrison loved to laugh, make others laugh, and was especially known for his playful attempts to scare those around him, something he found great joy in.

From the time he was just three years old, Harrison had a love for Legos. Over the years, he built dozens of intricate and imaginative creations, showcasing both his patience and creativity. He was also an outdoorsy young man who enjoyed adventure and time spent outside any chance he got.

Harrison was a proud Hurricane and an 11th grade student at Rutland High School, where he made lasting friendships and memories.

He loved his family deeply—both the one he was born into and the one he chose along the way.

One of his beloved families since the first grade was his Scout family, Cub Scout Pack 225, then BoyScout Troop 235, and they certainly held a very special place in his heart, and the bonds he formed there will not be forgotten.

Harrison knew Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and will spend eternity in Heaven with Christ, a comfort to all who loved him.

Harrison was dearly loved and is survived by his mama, Kalyn Collins (Ben); his daddy, Greg Morris (Leanne); his sister, Farah Morris; step brothers and sisters, Grace, Colton, Avery Collins, Carter Willis, and Kaylin Nipper; grandparents, Karen and Mark Mangham, Catherine and Henry D. Morris, Carol and Lee Lafferty, Ron and Sue Collins, and David and Sandy Spivey; and many numerous honorary aunts, uncles and grandparents.

Services for Harrison will be held on Saturday, April 18, at 12:00 PM at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 1101 Dunbar Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093. The family will greet friends starting at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private.

Harrison’s life, though far too short, was beautifully lived. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests that unopened, new boxes of LEGO sets be brought to the church to be displayed and later donated by the family following the services.
