Harriet Slater

Harriet Hartley Slater, 66, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. Funeral services to honor her life will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Lizella Baptist Church, 2950 S. Lizella Road, Lizella, Georgia, with Reverend Chris Minton officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will have a time of visitation on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the church between the hours of 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
Harriet was preceded in death by her father; Mr. Robert Hartley, Sr. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years David Slater; two daughters: Jennifer Ord and Julie Walker (Keith), her mother; Mary Hartley, a brother, Bob Hartley (Debbie), two sisters: Lynn Bryson (Rodger) and Patti Dominy (Darrell), Four grandchildren: Elizabeth Lyn Ord, Eryn Bailey Ord, Ashton Walker and Ryan Walker.
Harriet was a member of Lizella Baptist Church and a member of the Golden Fellowship. She was a born caregiver and took great care of her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in honor of Harriet to Lizella Baptist Church.
