Harold E. Bennett Sr. 74, of Lizella, Ga. passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016. Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 4, 2016 at 11a.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Jim Duggan will officiate.
Born in Homerville, Georgia, he was the son of the late Willie Lawton Bennett Sr. and Pearl Williams Bennett. He was the husband of the late Mollie Woodall Bennett.
He was a retired signal maintainer with the Norfolk-Southern Railroad, he was a member of the BRS Local # 49 where he was the recording secretary. He was also a member of the Bellevue Baptist Church.
He is survived by his children, Eddie Bennett (Donna), and Robin Harris (Tim). Three grandchildren, Brandon Harris, Taylor and Lexi Bennett. Brothers, W.L. Bennett, Michael Bennett, and Gary Bennett.
Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services has charge of arrangements.
