Gregory Stewart

Gregory Sauls Stewart, 60, of Lizella, passed away on July 22, 2018. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Greg was born on June 30, 1958 to the late James Fredrick and Delree Claire Stewart. He was an avid outdoorsman and genuinely loved being outside, whether he was playing golf, baseball, tennis, football, or being on the water either at the beach or the lake. Greg was a lifelong Georgia Bulldawgs and Atlanta Braves fan. By far, his greatest joy in life came from his family. They were the light of his life, and he was his happiest when he was spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Greg was the best "Pop" around and always took time out of his day to play with them. He made sure they knew just how much he loved them.
Left to carry on his legacy, is his loving family. His wife of 29 years; Valerie Hicks Stewart, two sons; Glenn Cook (Jennifer) and Josh Price (Mariana). Five precious grandchildren; Chase Cook, Chandler Cook, Ben Price, Madison Claire Price, and Lauren Catherine Price. One brother; Carey Stewart (Bonnie), Nephew; Matthew Stewart (Carolina) and great nieces and nephews; Sofia, Jameson and Ben Stewart. As well as a large extended family who meant the world to him.
