Glenette Marshall

January 7, 1940 — May 10, 2025

Glenette Tucker Marshall, 85, of Byron, Georgia went to be with her Lord on Saturday May 10, 2025. A funeral service to honor her life will be 3:00 PM Friday May 16, 2025, at FairHaven Funeral Home. The family invites friends to join them for a time of visitation one hour prior to services. Pastor Ronnie Hollis Jr. will be officiating all services.

Glenette was born January 7, 1940, in Byron, Georgia to the late Mr. Paul Tucker and Mrs. Sadie Jones Becham. She was a vibrant, spirited woman whose love for life radiated through everything she did. A true "spitfire," she was known for her boundless energy and fierce independence always on the go, always full of life. Whether she was tending to her beloved flowers, painting a new masterpiece, diving into her latest craft project, or treasure hunting at yard sales, she did it all with enthusiasm and a spark that never dimmed. Her passion for simple joys and creative expression was matched only by her deep devotion to family. She had a lifelong love for animals and always had a soft spot for the pets that became part of her family, showering them with affection and treating them like her own children. She lit up when playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her appreciation for the love and care her children gave her was profound. Glenette never missed a chance to share her affection, always ending every visit or call with the words that meant the most: "I love you." Her legacy is one of strength, joy, endless energy, and a heart that touched everyone lucky enough to know her.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years Jimmy Marshall; daughter, Ginger Verbick; sisters, Gaynita Yaughn, and Pauline Hill.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Alan Marshall; daughter, Cherry (Paul) Frederick; sister, Joyce (Mike) Hencley; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family.
