Georgia Vinson

Georgia Southerland Vinson, 79, of Montezuma, Georgia passed away Friday, January 20, 2017. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road Macon. Reverend Sarah Ulm will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation from 1:00 p.m. till service time in the funeral home.
Born in Metter, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late John B. Southerland and Beatrice McDaniel Southerland. She was a dental hygienist for over 40 years and was a member of the American Dental Hygienist Society.
Mrs. Vinson was a member of the First Baptist Church in Montezuma. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Vinson.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Vinson, children, Scott McPherson(Patty), Dixie Brown(Donnie) and Sylvia Davis(Chip). Nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
