George Owen Williams; 88, of Macon, Georgia passed away Tuesday, October 21. 2014.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Lizella Baptist Church with burial to follow in GlenHaven Memorial Gardens. Reverend Chris Minton will officiate.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon.

Born in Stockton, Georgia, he was the son of the late Archie Williams and Annie Bell Williams. Mr. George was lovingly known as the unofficial Mayor of Jim Shaw's restaurant. He was put on this earth to make it a better place and he succeeded by making everyone he came in contact with laugh. He was predeceased by his daughter, Dawn Baldwin

He is survived by his son-in-law: Joe Baldwin, Grandchildren, Stephanie Grinstead (Kevin); Chuck Baldwin (Beth) Great Grandchildren, Hunter, Kristin, Timmy, Madison, Katie, Chandler, Auston and Kirston. Great great grandchild, Isabella. Brother, Bruce Williams. Step-Children, Annette Allen, Beverly Jean Norton, Damon Allen, Darrell Clark.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family request memorials to be made to the Lizella Baptist Church, 2950 South Lizella Road, Lizella, Georgia 31052.
