Genene Sanders Hanse, 83 of Lizella, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023. A graveside service will be held Sunday, February 12, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in Rose Hill Cemetery. Reverend Chris Minton will officiate.
Born in Macon, She was the daughter of late Ruben Sanders and Willa McCallum Sanders. She was retired patient representative with Oconee Regional Medical Center and a member of the Lizella Baptist Church, where she attended the Glenn Talbert Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles T. Hanse, children, Gina Merritt(Michael) and Andrew Hanse. Sister, Debra Golden and brother, Butch Miller, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Lizella Baptist Church, 2950 South Lizella Road Lizella, Ga. 31052.
