Gene Richard "Butch" Horton, 75, of Macon, passed away on September 26, 2020. Mr. Horton was laid to rest in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville.
Mr. Horton was born on July 7, 1945 in Milledgeville to the late James and Marie Horton. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy and later retired as a U.S. Marshall.
Mr. Horton was preceded in death by his parents as well as a son; Michael Horton.
Left to cherish his memory is his son; Richard Wayne Horton and his sister; Eleanor Martin.
