Gayle Busbee Hood, 65, of Macon passed away peacefully, Wednesday, November 11, 2015. Graveside Services to honor her life will be held Monday, November 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Byron City Cemetery with the Reverend Charles Carter officiating. The family will greet friends beginning at noon at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon and will leave in procession to the cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
Gayle was a homemaker the majority of her life and loved a good meal. She had a special love for all music, live and recorded. Her true passion in life was her family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Jones. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Steve Hood, and son, Shane Jones (Angela). Grandchildren, Taylor Paul Jones, Sarah Beth Jones, Alexis Jones, and Brayden Jones. Siblings, Wayne Busbee (Joyce), Ellen Holiday, Terry Busbee (Melody), Alton Busbee (Donna) and Buddy Busbee. As well as a Sister in law, Cathy Baxley.
