Gary Fowler

Gary Fowler, 61, of Macon passed away peacefully, Saturday, September 17, 2016 with his loving family by his side. The family will hold a Visitation on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon. A Celebration of his life will be held by the family at a later date.
Born in Macon to the late Clyde and Minnie Jo Fowler, Gary was a mechanic for the entirety of his life. He worked on fixing things from a very young age. He enjoyed NASCAR and antique car shows. In his free time Gary loved to fish as well as camping and gardening. Gary would do anything to help anyone and was selfless to a fault. Above everything he was an amazing husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents as well as two brothers, and one sister. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Cindy Fowler, Children; David Fowler (Tracie) of Orlando, Florida, Wesley Fowler (Sabrina) of Lizella, and Marlene Richter (John) of Macon. Seven Grandchildren; Anthony Fowler, Christopher Fowler, Daniel Fowler, Harmony Fowler, Austin Fowler, Matthew Bailey, and Amelia Richter; Two Brothers; Travis Fowler of Royston, Georgia and James Fowler of Lizella.
