Fred Mccranie

Fred McCranie, Jr., 68, of Macon, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. Services to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Thomaston Road Baptist Church.
Fred was born January 9, 1949 to the late Mary J Creel and Fred McCraine, Sr. He was the owner and operator of Perfect Painting, where he worked as a professional home painter before he retired. Fred was a generous man who would help others in any way he could. He was very adventurous in his younger days. Freds greatest joy in life came from his grandchildren, he was by far his happiest when he was spending time with them. They were his greatest accomplishment and he loved being a Gampa more than anything.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, and well as three siblings: Sara Carmichael, Felton Drew "Buddy" McCranie and Linda Sapp.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family. His son; Freddie McCranie and his wife Linsey. Three grandchildren: Cayla, Peyton and Ashlyn McCranie all of Macon. Siblings: Dorothy Nesmith, of Tallahassee, Fl, Betty McCrackin of Macon, and Kitty Macon of Orlando, Fl. Fred will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
