Fred Fahr

Frederick "Fred" Charles Fahr, 70, of Byron, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025. A graveside celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, June 4, at 10:30 AM at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Dr. William "Will" Farrington, pastor of Liberty Church Macon, officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
Mr. Fahr was born on June 23, 1954, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Mr. Carl Francis Fahr and Mrs. Elizabeth Jacobs Fahr. Fred was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. After his retirement, he worked part-time at Ocmulgee Gun Club. He was an Eagle Scout, working with the scouts for many years, and was also an avid Disney fan.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Fahr was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as J. O. Jacobs, (Sally K. Foster Jacobs), Lewis Hunt Jacobs, (Betty Whetstone Jacobs),Morris Clint Jacobs, (Helen Grubbs Jacobs), (John Elmer Hamilton), Ann Jacobs Hamilton, Mary Catherine "Cashen" Fulmer, (Robert N. Fulmer II), Robert "Neal" Fulmer III, and Lewis Michael Jacobs.
Left to cherish Mr. Fahr's memory are Marcilla Jacobs Heath, Beverly Jacobs Malone (Thomas Malone), Kay Jacobs Rowell, Morris Clint Jacobs, Jr. (Beverly Jacobs), Ann Kathrine Hamilton Shore (William Shore), and John Elmer Hamilton III.
